This great wine comes from vines that are about a century old. They are located on the moors and slopes near the eastern part of the Ribera del Duero. This wine shows all the freshness and juiciness of the mountain vineyards. These vineyards are located between 900 and almost 1000 meters. The soil in which these vineyards are located is abundant with fine gravel on the surface , a sandy loam horizon and clay at depth. The climate to which they are subjected is characterized by very cold winters and warm summers. in the winemaking process, fermentation is carried out in oak vats , leaving the grapes to undergo a long and gentle maceration. Once the devatting process is complete, the wine is transferred to barrels, where malolactic fermentation takes place. It is then aged for 18 monthsin brand new French oak barrels.
