Manzanilla Mirabrás - Barbadillo is a fortified wine from D.O. Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda , produced by Bodegas Barbadillo from 100% Palomino Fino grapes. It comes from vineyards in the Marco de Jerez and undergoes biological aging under a veil of flor , a process characteristic of these wines that gives them their dry, fresh and very expressive profile.
In the glass it has a pale yellow color , clean and bright. The nose shows fresh and elegant aromas, with herbaceous and citrus notes and a delicate saline background , very characteristic of wines aged in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.On the palate it is dry, light and balanced, with a pleasant saline sensation and a fresh and persistent finish that reflects its Atlantic character.
A very versatile and gastronomic manzanilla, perfect to enjoy very cold as an aperitif or accompanying seafood, fish, sausages or tapas , where its freshness and saline character enhance the flavors of the dish.
