Marqués de Griñón Dominio de Valdepusa Syrah 2018 is a red wine made by Marqués de Griñón Family Estatesat D.O.P. Dominio de Valdepusa , one of the first appellations of payment recognized in Spain, located in Malpica de Tajo (Toledo). It is made with 100% Syrah from own vineyards grown on clay-limestone-influenced limestone soils, which give the wine structure and elegance.
After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barrels , followed by an additional period of refinement in the bottle. This process adds complexity and balance, integrating the power of the grape variety with the finesse characteristic of the estate.
The nose is intense and expressive, with aromas of ripe black fruit, spicy notes and hints of black pepper , accompanied by toasted and balsamic nuances derived from aging. The palate is ample and structured, with ripe tannins, good concentration and a long, elegant finish. A red wine with personality, ideal to accompany red meats, game or Mediterranean dishes with character.
