Montecastro is a wine dominated by Tinto fino, which in this vintage is complemented by a small contribution of Cabernet sauvignon. Balance, finesse and freshness are its great characteristics, as well as a great aging potential. Very aromatic with perfect harmony with the subtle aromas contributed by the oak aging. Vineyards planted at between 860 and 930 meters altitude within the municipality of Castrillo de Duero (Valladolid), near the border with the province of Burgos, with a strong limestone component.
