Sierra Cantabria Colección Privada 2022 is a red wine from the DOCa Rioja produced by Viñedos Sierra Cantabria , the Eguren family winery in San Vicente de la Sonsierra (Rioja Alta). It is produced with 100% Tempranillo from old vines over 50 years old , selected in high quality plots that seek to reflect the character of the vineyard and the environment of the Sonsierra.

The winemaking process combines traditional vinification with a part of carbonic maceration , a historical method in Rioja that provides greater fruit expression. After fermentation, the wine is aged for about 16 months in new French and American oak barrels in equal parts , where it develops complexity and structure.
