Feudo Montoni Catarratto Masso 2023 is one of the finest contemporary interpretations of Catarratto, Sicily’s most traditional white grape variety. Crafted by Fabio Sireci at the Feudo Montoni estate, it comes from a vineyard known as Masso, unique for its sandy, iron-rich soil. Made using organic practices and respectful vinification, this white wine highlights freshness, minerality, and a distinctive personality. The 2023 vintage benefited from a dry winter and spring rains, ensuring excellent acidity. Aging on lees in cement adds texture, resulting in a balanced, gastronomic wine with a potential aging capacity of 5 to 8 years. On the nose, it features aromas of bay leaf, mint, orange blossom, citrus, and a mineral sensation. On the palate, it presents precise acidity with a salty, creamy touch, ideal for pairing with seafood, white fish, and Mediterranean cuisine.
