Narupa Piorno 2022 is the result of the vision of the Narupa Vinos winery, founded by Rosa Pedrosa, Ruth Campelo, Paco Pedrosa, and Nacho Jiménez. This project aims to demonstrate Albariño's potential beyond common styles. Named after the Galician shrub 'piorno', the wine reflects the character of inland vineyards. The 2022 vintage is characterized by its Atlantic freshness and depth. It has been fermented with native yeasts and aged for 10 months in barrels, developing a rich texture without masking the fruit or granite minerality. This Albariño offers aromas of apple, pear, and white peach, along with floral and herbal notes. On the palate, it is broad and fresh with balanced acidity, finishing long with salty and spicy hints. Ideal for seafood, fish, and Japanese cuisine, its aging potential is between 8 and 10 years.
