Numanthia 2018 is an intense, firm, and persistent red wine that demonstrates, year after year, the immense quality of the Tinta de Toro variety in iconic regions like Valdefinjas and Morales de Toro. This vintage presents itself as a wine full of ripe red fruit, with remarkable freshness, making it a sought-after choice within the Toro denomination. The history of the winery begins with the vision of Marcos and Miguel Eguren to create the best wine in the region. Since their entry into the LVMH group in 2008, they have maintained a focus on quality. They have around 49 hectares of vineyards, where 20 hectares feature vines aged between 70 and 100 years. The estate Teso de los Carriles in Argujillo also stands out with 4.8 hectares of vines over 120 years old. The altitude of the vineyards, averaging 700 meters, and the soil composition provide a high concentration of fruit, resulting in a firm-structured wine, ideal for lovers of characterful reds.
