Oxer Otto Rosado 2023 is a unique creation from Oxer Bastegieta that challenges the conventions of rosés. This wine is more akin to a gastronomic clarete, resulting from the co-fermentation of red and white grapes from old vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta regions. Inspired by the “Nietzsche dancer,” Otto expresses a creative and nonconformist vision, where white varieties add tension and complexity. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, and the wine matures in large barrels, providing texture and depth. It presents aromas of fruits like strawberry and cherry, wildflowers, and spicy notes. On the palate, it stands out for its vibrant acidity, fine tannins, and a fresh, elegant finish, different from traditional light rosés.
