Artazu Santa Cruz de Artazu Reserva 2020 is one of the purest and most elegant expressions of Navarra Garnacha. This wine is made by Bodega Artazu, a project by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle in Navarra, from century-old vineyards located in the Valle de Valdizarbe. The region combines an Atlantic and continental climate, ideal for producing wines with great freshness, depth, and aging potential. The vines grow on clay-limestone soils and limestone rocks, offering unique minerality and character. The harvest is done manually, followed by fermentation with native yeasts. The wine matures in French oak barrels and large 500-litre casks to maintain the vineyard's identity. On the nose, it presents aromas of fresh red fruits like cherry and raspberry, accompanied by floral notes, brushwood, and a spicy touch. On the palate, the wine is vibrant, with fine tannins and a pronounced mineral sensation, offering a long and refined finish. Ideal for pairing with cold cuts, red meats, and aged cheeses, it is recommended to serve between 16 and 18 °C.
