O Luar do Sil Vides de Corgomo 2022 is a sophisticated expression of the Galician legacy of Pago de los Capellanes in Valdeorras, made entirely from Godello grapes. These grapes are grown on slate hills that contribute a notable mineral characteristic and remarkable aging potential. During its production, the grapes undergo a rigorous manual selection and ferment in various vessels, ranging from stainless steel tanks to 500-liter acacia barrels. The process includes aging on lees for about 8 months with gentle batonnages, culminating in bottle aging to create a wine with deep, elegant texture. This wine displays aromas of dried peach, apricot, ripe citrus, and white flowers, all with a mineral and smoky background. On the palate, it is creamy with a characteristic salinity that prolongs its finish, making this Godello a serious and refined gastronomic option among the white references of Valdeorras.
