Pago de los Capellanes El Picón 2021 is a unique red wine made from Tempranillo grapes in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, Spain. This elegant and structured Reserva stands out for its delicious spicy and toasted notes that complement a rich fruit load. The Pago de los Capellanes winery, recognized as one of the best wineries in the world, produces this wine with dedication and a focus on sustainable agriculture. The grapes are grown in loamy and clay soils, favored by a climate that promotes temperature contrasts, enhancing the ripening of the fruits. After a careful harvest in 15 kg boxes, the grapes are chilled and fermented in French oak vats, giving the wine its maximum expression. The process includes 40 days of fermentation, followed by 32 days of malolactic fermentation and aging for 22 months in barrels. Finally, this wine rests for at least 40 months in the cellar before being marketed, ensuring its exceptional quality and character.
