Rompecepas Tinto Fino 2021 is an exceptional red wine made by Cinco Leguas, a project by Marc Isart, and belongs to the Denomination of Origin Vinos de Madrid. This wine is made from 100% Tinto Fino, using grapes from old vineyards mainly located in Colmenar de Oreja and Chinchón, in the southeast region of the Community of Madrid. These vineyards, situated on limestone soils and cultivated sustainably, allow the wine to express fresh and unique characteristics, highlighting its quality outside the usual area for this variety. The winemaking production is based on a philosophy of minimal intervention, seeking to enhance the vineyard's inherent character. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, ensuring the authenticity of the product. After fermentation, the wine is aged in large used French oak barrels, allowing it to refine without the wood flavor overshadowing its characteristic notes. On the nose, Rompecepas Tinto Fino 2021 presents a fresh and expressive profile, with pleasant aromas of ripe red and black fruits, accompanied by subtle spicy nuances and a mineral background that adds depth.
