Vidonia Viñedos Propios 2025 is a high-end white wine produced by Suertes del Marqués in the Valle de La Orotava, in northern Tenerife. It comes from vineyards on volcanic soils, with many very old vines cultivated in the traditional braided cord system. The Atlantic climate, trade winds, and altitudes between 350 and 700 meters promote slow maturation that preserves freshness and acidity. Vinification combines fermentation in barrels and extended aging on lees, adding volume, complexity, and an enveloping texture without losing precision or mineral character. On the nose, it offers white fruit, citrus, and herbal notes, on a slightly smoky volcanic background. On the palate, it is structured, fresh, and mineral, with good acidity and fine texture. Its finish is long, saline, and precise. It is a wine with aging potential and a style close to that of great Atlantic whites. It can accompany fish, seafood, rice dishes, and sophisticated cuisine, dishes that highlight its tension and minerality.
