The Moscatel Trasañejo Don Salvador, produced by Bodegas Málaga Virgen, is a distinctive wine from the Málaga Denomination of Origin. This wine combines the great aromatic intensity of Moscatel de Alejandría with over thirty years of oxidative aging, resulting in a wine of unique complexity and personality. Its limited production, through the criaderas and soleras system in American oak barrels, provides exceptional concentration while maintaining the floral character of the Moscatel. Its aromas encompass orange blossom, honey, candied orange peel, raisins, dates, carob, and nuts, complemented by notes of old solera and noble woods. On the palate, the wine is rich and silky, with a perfect balance between sweetness and depth, ideal for pairing with foie gras, blue cheeses, and dark chocolate desserts, or simply enjoying alone at 16 °C as a meditation wine.
