White Tea Pai Mu Tan is distinguished by its careful picking, where only the buds and new shoots are selected before they open. This non-oxidized tea, the purest and most similar to fresh leaf, is produced through a simple process of withering and drying. Its name comes from the fine silvery-white hairs that cover the buds, giving it a whitish appearance. Known as the 'tea of youth,' it is famous for its high antioxidant content, contributing to health and well-being. Originating from China, it offers a delicate flavor with a color ranging from pale yellow to bright, ideal for infusions. It is recommended to prepare by adding 2 g of the product to 200 ml of hot water at 100ºC and let steep for 3 to 5 minutes. This tea may contain traces of gluten, egg, peanut, soy, milk, tree nuts, sesame seeds, and sulfites; therefore, it is advisable for those with allergies to take precautions.
