In the high vineyards of Penedès, in the municipality of Santa María de Miralles, we find the Fransola Estate. In the Fransola Estate, 25 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated, which are used to make Fransola, one of the most elegant white wines with Penedés D.O. And it is that Fransola is a unique wine because it is enriched with a fermentation in new American oak barrels followed by four months of aging.

Elaboration: Sauvignon Blanc grape is the base of this unique white wine, partially fermented and aged in new American oak barrels. Tasting Note: Voluptuous and intense varietal aroma characteristic of great Sauvignon, with a profusion of fruity and vegetal notes (certain tropical fruits, the scent of the fig tree in summer, hints of mint...). Palate with elegant structure, good acidity, oily and with noble sap that evolves, with great style, towards a pleasantly acidic finish. Pairing and Serving Temperature: Ideal for accompanying crustaceans and seafood, the best fish and some poultry. Properly stored, it will improve in the next 3-5 years. Serve at 8-10ºC.
