Las Parvas is a distinctive wine produced in Toro, in the heart of the Duero River valley. This wine comes from a vineyard over 140 years old that grows at 780 meters above sea level, in alluvial soils that provide minerality and balance to the wine. With hot, dry summers and cold winters, the climatic conditions contribute to the wine's exceptional quality. Hand-harvested, the grapes undergo a controlled fermentation process and extended maceration. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 24 months and then in bottles for one more year, resulting in a deep ruby red, concentrated, and intense wine. On the nose, it presents a mix of red and black fruits with toasted and mineral notes. On the palate, complexity is achieved through flavors of mature oak and fruits, making it a masterpiece that has received multiple awards, including 91 points from James Suckling and distinctions from Decanter and Guía Peñín.
