Origen is a single varietal wine made from tempranillo grapes that comes from the DO Ribera del Duero and is the most representative wine of Lynus Viñedos y Bodegas. When you open it, let it breathe for a few minutes to enjoy it in all its splendor because, from the beginning, you know you are going to succeed.
It is smooth in acidity, does not tire, and before you know it, you have finished the bottle ;) Elegant, with fruity and floral tones, it gives off an intense aroma that does not disappoint on the palate.
Its grapes come from Pago Roldán, at 820 meters above sea level. Its North-South orientation avoids the sun exposure in the late afternoon on summer days. The vines are grown on shallow, chalky soil, and the daily temperature fluctuations are significant during the ripening months, enduring prolonged droughts.
This Lynus Origen from the 2019 vintage is obtained after slow fermentations and, refined for 13 months in the best oak barrels, it achieves results that are hard to forget.
The bottles are numbered, so you don't lose track of them.
It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 18 and 20ºC.
Lynus Vineyards and Wineries is a family-owned company born in 1999 in Quintanilla de Arriba, in the province of Valladolid. They started with 15 hectares of vineyards in a region of Spain where excellent wines are produced due to its particular climate and soils. Shortly after, they built their own winery and planted new vineyards in a constant aspiration to improve and consolidate their first steps. Currently, they have 25 hectares of tempranillo, which allows them to produce around 80,000 bottles per year.
