Blecua red wine, 2016 vintage, with D.O. Somontano, made by Viñas del Vero with Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot. It is presented in a bottle, in Magnum 1.5 L format, with an alcohol content of 14.5 %. The Blecua winery began operations in July 2000, near Viñas del Vero, along the Vero River between Barbastro and Alquézar; its wines are marketed by Bodegas González Byass. Harvesting is done by hand, in small 10 kg boxes to collect the grapes. The clusters are selected and the grapes from each vineyard ferment separately for four weeks in French oak vats. Malolactic fermentation begins in the vats and continues in new French oak barrels. After twelve months the best barrels are selected and blending is carried out, followed by another eight months in barrel: 20 months in total before bottling. Deeply colored, with violet and purple hues, it offers aromas of ripe red and black fruit and a full, broad, long and persistent palate. The sheet indicates a rating of 94, without specifying the scale.
