Bodegas Valdelana presents one of its most prestigious wines, Centvm Vitis with Gold, which combines history and exceptional quality. This wine comes from a unique vineyard of pre-phylloxera vines that survived the devastating plague of the 19th century. The characteristics of the land, with clay-limestone soils and steep slopes, were key to maintaining this vineyard that the Valdelana family has cared for for generations. Made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes, the harvest is done manually with care. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by 10 months of aging in French Allier oak barrels. The result is a tannic and round red wine, with expressions of pure fruit and great complexity contributed by its aging. The case accompanies this wine with edible gold petals, a tribute to the centenary vines.
