Nordés Miniature Gin 5cl: In July 2012, from the meeting of a sommelier from a famous Michelin-starred restaurant, a winemaker, and a master distiller, after a year of attempts, the 100% Galician Nordés Gin was born. It starts with a slow and calm distillation of Albariño wine, which is then macerated with 14 botanicals and a seaweed typical of the Atlantic region of Galicia. Among its ingredients, the notes of Laurel, Caralleira, Toxo, Salicornia Marina, Hierbaluisa, Ginebro, Regaliz, Cardamom, Mint, Ginger, Tea, Lemon Peel, Quinine, Sage, and a Cat's Half Smile stand out.
The production consists of three separate distillations of each ingredient in a still, and a fourth distillation with the final blend of all of them. The macerations are carried out following biodynamic rhythms, as indicated by the moon, on a flower day.
It is recommended to serve it neat due to its perfumed character, although it also works well mixed with tonic and ice, and flavored with grape carpaccio.
