Cava Gramona Imperial
The Cava Gramona Imperial Gran Reserva Brut has the Cava Denomination of Origin.
It is made from the grape varieties Xarel·lo (50%), Macabeo (40%), and Chardonnay (10%), by the Gramona winery. Each variety is vinified separately.
It has a aging period of 60 months.
A cava with body and elegance that will not leave you indifferent.
It is recommended to be served at a temperature of 7° C.
ECOLOGICAL AND BIODYNAMIC VITICULTURE
The production of this Gramona Imperial cava involves meticulous observation and treatment of the factors influencing the vineyards, the soil, and their habitat, with no herbicides or chemical pesticides applied, and only natural resources used, with the main objective of preserving the balance of the environment while maintaining spontaneous vegetation covers to achieve fluffy soils rich in nutrients.
Through biodynamic agriculture, a step beyond ecology, the vineyards are vinified aiming to enhance biodiversity levels: plant infusions and decoctions are applied to prevent pests, and the winery prepares its own animal and vegetable compost from its medicinal plant garden and its farm with cows, sheep, and horses owned by them.
PRODUCTION
The production of Gramona wines goes from the field to the bottle. The grapes are harvested manually in 25 kg boxes, then a selection table is used to remove the bunches that are not in perfect condition, and the grapes enter the winery by gravity, where whole bunch pressing is performed.
The heads and hearts (52.5%) from the fractionated pressing are used, sourced from 12 vineyards belonging to Alliances per la Terra.
The expedition liqueur comes from the century-old solera that provides the unmistakable signature of the house, a symbol of elegance that has made this sparkling wine a classic. A moderate dosage of 7 grams per liter.
This sparkling wine has an aging period of over 50 months.

100% BIODEGRADABLE CELLOPHANE
Made using the artisanal system from the early 20th century and certified as compostable material by the Catalan Waste Agency.
