Beronia Crianza 2022 is a red wine from D.O.Ca Rioja, made in La Rioja, in the north of Spain, with Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes. Presentation: 75 cl bottle. Alcohol content: 13.5 %. Ageing takes place for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 6 months of bottle ageing before release to the market. Beronia winery, founded in 1973, combines traditional methods and modern techniques to express the character of the region. Visually, it shows an intense cherry-red hue, clear and bright, with medium-high intensity. On the nose, cherries and raspberries stand out, together with mineral notes and aromatic herbs, as well as hints of dark fruits, spices and toasted oak. On the palate it is balanced and pleasant, with fruit and liquorice over a background of chocolate and coffee. It has silky tannins, good structure and a long, persistent finish. Suggested pairing: red meat, roasts, cured cheeses and game dishes.
