The La Felisa Ecológico Red Wine from Bodegas Emilio Moro presents this red wine from the Ribera del Duero designation of origin, made from 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) grapes.

Felisa has been the center of the Moro family and now her children pay tribute to her. This wine is the first of the brand to be ecological and free of added sulfites. It is made from grapes from medium-aged vineyards (between 15 and 25 years old).

The vineyards from which the grapes used to make this wine come from are located in Pesquera de Duero, in the province of Valladolid, and grow on clay-loam soils.

La Felisa is made from organic grapes, without the use of sulfur, fermented at a controlled temperature, macerated for 15 days with skins, and then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of 225 to 500 liters.

Recommended serving temperature: Between 16 and 18ºC.

Bodegas Emilio Moro

The history of the Moro family has been written since 1932 as a three-generation project rooted in the Ribera del Duero and dedicated to discovering the characteristics of its terroir to transmit them in wines with personality.

Emilio Moro was born in 1932 in Pesquera de Duero, one of the most coveted wine regions in Spain. As a child, he stomped grapes in the wineries of his town, and at the age of 14, he sold wine jugs with his father in the area.

In 1987, Emilio and his sons, José and Javier, decided to produce and market their own wines, betting on vineyards of native Tempranillo clones.

Currently, Bodegas Emilio Moro owns 200 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in the surroundings of Pesquera de Duero, the birthplace of the winery's founder, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
