The philosophy of Bodegas Luis Cañas, located in Rioja Alavesa, is that "Good wine comes from the best grapes." In 2012 it was chosen as the world's best wine thanks precisely to its RCP.
This family winery has a history of more than two centuries.
The red wine Luis Cañas crianza comes from vineyards over 30 years old.
It has been aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, and in bottle for at least 9 months. It was considered the best wine in the world in 2012 in terms of quality-price ratio by the American magazine Wine Advocate.
