Malpaso expresses the potential of this grape variety, adapted to the strict conditions of the Méntrida area. Malpaso is a reflection of the objective with which this winery in Toledo was created, which is none other than to process wines designed from the vineyard, practicing organic viticulture and venerating the grape to the maximum. Made with Syrah grapes, originating from the trellised vineyards between 15 and 20 years old that the winery owns in the municipality of Camarena, Malpaso is a powerful red wine, well-structured with a full and lasting finish. The sandy surface on which the vineyards are located - at an altitude of 400 meters - is very suitable for the fruit to reach full ripeness. In addition, the climate of the area, mainly dry with different temperature variations between summer and winter, combined with twelve months of aging in French oak barrels of 400 and 500 liters, reveal an elegant, distinguished, and personality-filled wine in Malpaso.
