This wine is primarily made with Tempranillo (95%), complemented by Merlot (5%). The Tempranillo grapes originate from vineyards located in Hontangas, San Juan del Monte, and Quintana del Pidio, while the Merlot comes from the Valdepalacios estate. These vines grow at altitudes between 825 and 850 meters over stony and calcareous soils, providing ideal conditions for quality grape cultivation. Most of the vines are over 40 years old, which contributes to exceptional concentration and typicity in the wine.
