Vino Tinto Salinas 1237 comes from the prestigious D.O. Alicante and is composed of a blend of 45% Garnacha Tintorera, 33% Petit Verdot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Monastrell. This wine has undergone aging on lees in new French barrels for 21 months, providing exceptional complexity and elegance. The Sierra Salinas winery has produced a wine awarded the Gran Oro medal from AkataVino 2016 and rated 93 points by the Guía Peñín 2011. Additionally, it received 92 points in the Wine Advocate from Robert Parker in 2017. On the nose, it is straightforward and firm, with a strong presence of ripe red fruit, while on the palate, it is juicy and creamy, with notes of toffee, licorice, and balsamics. It presents a clean and bright garnet color. This wine has an alcohol content of 14.5% and is presented in a 75cl bottle.
