Sintauto Graciano Red Wine is an excellent representation of its designation of origin, D.O.Ca Rioja, and has been awarded 90 points in the Peñín Guide. This wine is made solely from Graciano grapes, a variety known for producing structured and flavorful wines. Aging occurs in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months, adding complexity and depth to its flavor profile. The grapes come from the “Los Olivos” vineyard, located on the slopes of Yerga in Alfaro. This vineyard was planted in 1995 and features vines trained in a trellis system. Harvesting is done by hand, ensuring that only the best grapes are selected. After careful destemming and crushing, the grapes are fermented and macerated in tanks to extract the best varietal attributes. The sensory experience offered by this wine is rich and complex. On the nose, notes of black fruits such as cherries and plums are detected, alongside a hint of ink and subtle toasted nuances. On the palate, the wine is balanced and round, with a persistent aftertaste that leaves memories of candied fruit. It is a long-lived wine that may display slight sediment due to its natural evolution, which is a sign of quality.
