Readers Vini, presents us with the Red Wine La Selección Montsant Readers Viniwhich comes from wineries located in the town of El Masroig, DO Montsant(Spain), made from the grape varieties80% grenache, 15% mazuelo, 3% tempranillo and 2% white.
The vineyards develop in a Mediterranean climate with various ages (from 10 to 40 years) and altitudes (an average of 300 meters). The cultivation is mainly done on trellises, some in goblet, and all are done ecologically. The 2022 harvest took place from September 4 to 21. In the winery, the grapes macerated for 9 days, with 90% of destemmed clusters and 10% whole clusters. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, followed by aging for 9 months on fine lees. The wine was gently filtered before bottling.
