Vino Tinto Vetusta Crianza is a wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes sourced from old vineyards. Its 14-month aging in French and American oak barrels gives it an elegant character and remarkable flavor. Ideal to enjoy at an optimal temperature between 14ºC and 16ºC.
Vino Tinto Vetusta Crianza, belonging to the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes selected from vineyards over 20 years old at an altitude of 900 meters. With a limited production of 5,100 kg/ha, the harvest is done in 15 kg boxes to ensure the grapes arrive at the tank in less than an hour.
The production begins with careful destemming and a manual selection of the grapes. After they are placed in tanks without breaking, alcoholic fermentation takes place under temperature control, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. This wine is aged in first and second-year barrels, 60% French oak and 40% American, for 14 months, and rests in bottle for another 18 months before its market release.
The result is a full-bodied, elegant wine with sweet tannins, offering a spectacular aroma of red and black fruits. Its striking intense cherry red color with a brick rim stands out in the visual phase. To enjoy its full potential, it is recommended to serve it between 14ºC and 16ºC and decant it one hour before tasting.
