This limited edition is a tribute to the birth of Viña Pomal in 1908, coinciding with the 2010 vintage, a historic vintage at Bodegas Bilbaínas and rated as excellent by the Control Board of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin. This special edition is the result of a selection of 106 barrels made by Alejandro López, winemaker at Bodegas Bilbaínas. 20 months in French and American oak barrels. The label design has recovered the same blue color of Bilbao, the city that gives its name to Bodegas Bilbaínas.
