The Tomás Postigo 5 Year Red Wine is a distinguished representative of the D.O. Ribera del Duero. It is predominantly made with Tinto Fino, enriched with varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec that provide structure and character. The 2017 harvest faced challenges due to a severe spring frost, yet the winery meticulously selected the best grapes. This wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels from different forests, resulting in 46 distinct wines based on the origin of the grapes and type of barrel used. Ultimately, these wines were blended into a final cuvée that captures the essence of the region.
