Ukan Red Wine, 2022 vintage, made by Ukan Winery in La Rioja (Spain) with 100% Tempranillo grapes and D.O.Ca Rioja. Format: 75cl bottle. Alcohol content: 14.5%. The vineyards are cultivated using sustainable practices that respect the balance of the environment and encourage biodiversity. The grapes are harvested by hand, taken to the winery, destemmed and undergo controlled fermentation. The wine is then aged for 13 months in French oak barrels, which contributes to its complexity and structure. It has a deep, bright colour. On the nose it offers aromas of ripe fruits such as cherries and plums, together with spicy notes and a delicate touch of vanilla. On the palate it combines fruit with hints of dark chocolate and subtle mineral notes, in an overall elegant profile. Its structure makes it a good match for grilled red meats, aged cheeses and game dishes. It is a wine linked to the character of its origin and to the artisanal work of a small boutique winery.
