Guelbenzu Evo red wine, rated 90 points by James Suckling in 2024, belongs to the IGP Ribera del Queiles Denomination of Origin, Spain. This wine is made from a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot and has been aged for twelve months in French oak barrels. Over the years, it has received numerous awards, including a Silver Medal at Mundus Vini 2022 and Grand Gold in 2020. It is cultivated at Finca la Lombana (Vierlas) with vineyards extending over 46 hectares of river soils rich in gravel and sand. The average altitude of the vineyard is 500 meters, with a planting density of 3,500 vines per hectare and a yield of 6,500 kg/ha. Guelbenzu Evo presents an intense cherry red color, aromas of ripe black fruit, toasted and spiced notes, and a balsamic finish, creating a powerful, structured, and elegant wine. It is ideal for serving at 16 to 18 ºC.
