The Amrut Fusion Whisky gets its name from the fact that its production involves grains from very different places: barley from India and peated malted barley from Scotland.
After aging separately in ex-Bourbon barrels, the "marriage" process takes place, during which both types are fused together to create an excellent whisky that combines indigenous and Scottish elements.
