The White Wine Alto de Pioz, produced by the Alto de Pioz winery, is part of the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla designation in Spain. It is made from 100% Malvar grapes from vines over 80 years old. The clay and sandy soil creates a unique terroir for these vines. The winemaking process combines traditional and modern methods, where 60% of the wine is aged in 500-liter French oak barrels for 6 months, while the rest remains on lees in stainless steel tanks.
