The White Wine from Hacienda López de Haro by Bodega Hacienda López de Haro presents this White Wine D.O.C.a Rioja (Spain), made from the grape variety Viura and others.
The vineyards are planted on poor slopes in the area of San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). It is characterized by a continental climate. Additionally, it features a selection of old Viura vineyards and other varieties.
The harvest is manual and late, taking place throughout the month of October. During vinification, there is a 24-hour skin maceration, followed by a gentle and delicate pressing, and finally, a controlled fermentation in small tanks.
To achieve the desired wine, there was a 3-month aging in barrels for one-fifth of the wine, both in French oak barrels and those from Eastern Europe. Meanwhile, the rest remained in stainless steel tanks.
