La Caña White Wine is an exclusive wine from a project led by Jorge Ordoñez in the D.O. Rías Baixas. It is cultivated in the Salnés valley, where the vines are cared for under a pergola system, keeping the grapes away from the ground and minimizing the use of fungicides. The wine is made from Albariño grapes from 30 to 35-year-old vineyards, spread across twelve plots in Sisan Ribadumia. The sandy soils and high acidity of the region, due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, contribute unique characteristics to the final product. The optimal serving temperature is 6ºC, enhancing its freshness and flavor. Despite its limited production and current unavailability, La Caña White Wine is a tribute to the winemaking tradition of Rías Baixas and the passion behind its creation, making it a treasure for wine lovers.
