The Mater range from Milvus winery is dedicated to authentically expressing the origin and variety of the grape. The White Wine Mater from Milvus is predominantly made from the Albillo Mayor variety, a recovered indigenous grape that shows great potential for whites in the Ribera del Duero. Sourced from old vineyards in poor soils, the grapes are hand-harvested to preserve their integrity. The vinification process involves biological aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks or used barrels for 6 to 8 months, adding complexity without masking the primary aromas. The result is a straw-yellow wine with greenish reflections. On the nose, it shows great complexity and intensity, with predominant white fruit and mineral notes. On the palate, it presents a lush entry, good volume, and a long, persistent finish due to its balanced acidity and lees work. This wine has an alcohol content of 13% and belongs to the D.O. Ribera del Duero.
