The Solagüen Semi-Sweet White Wine, from Bodegas y Viñedos Labastida, reflects the richness of the Denomination of Origin Rioja (Spain). This wine is made from Viura and Tempranillo Blanco grapes harvested from over 70-year-old vines at 500 meters altitude. The vinification begins with a careful process: the grapes are destemmed and crushed, followed by a 24-hour maceration with skins at low temperature to extract aromatic compounds. Then, the must is decanted and fermented at 12ºC, which is stopped with cold, resulting in a wine with low alcohol and high residual sugar content. This wine has a bright straw-yellow body, complemented by intense floral and herbal aromas, along with notes of lemon peel and apple.
