The wine is made from old vineyards between 40 and 60 years old, located in the alluvial and rocky terraces of the Duero River in the northern area of Rueda, at about 750 meters above sea level. This environment provides significant thermal amplitude between day and night, favoring slow and complete ripening of the grapes, resulting in intense aromas and balanced acidity. The harvest is carried out at night, preserving the freshness and aromatic compounds of the grapes.
The production of White Wine Viña Oropéndola includes cold maceration with the skins, gentle pressing, and settling in tanks to ensure the purity of the must. Subsequently, the wine undergoes aging on its fine lees for 3 to 4 months, providing body, richness, and a silky texture without losing the varietal freshness of Verdejo.
