In addition, bearberry is an important source of tannins with anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties, which favor the increase in urine volume and renal elimination of urea. -It is suggested, to drink 3 to 4 cups of bearberry tea a day. To prepare this infusion you need 40 gr. of bearberry leaves per liter of water.
*Because of its high tannin content, consumption at high doses can cause irritation of the mucous membranes. It should be avoided during pregnancy and if you suffer from kidney disease
