Elaboration and aging

The high areas of each vineyard are harvested as they are the poorest. Viuda Negra Nunca Jamás is made 100% with Tempranillo grapes. Made in 225 liter French oak barrels for 14 days at low temperatures, with 4-5 daily rackings.

Aged in different French oak barrels seeking aromatic complexity until the end of malolactic fermentation.

Tasting notes Viuda Negra Nunca Jamás

• Appearance: Wine with high layer, with violet iridescence leaning towards blue.
• Nose: Very powerful where we can see the essence of Rioja Alavesa wine, especially a lot of red fruit and licorice. Barrel aging appears only as an enhancer of these nuances.
• Palate: Powerful, young and fresh and very fruity.

Pairing

Soups and vegetable dishes, poultry, grilled meats, stews. It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
