Abadía Retuerta Pago Garduña 2005 is a red wine V.T. Castilla y León made only from the Syrah variety. The vines are planted on a limestone, white and luminous soil, in a vaguada surrounded by pine trees that protect them from the winds. In result they are grapes of great concentration of sugars and a perfect maturity.
Abadía Retuerta Pago Garduña 2005 offers an intense color, reminiscent of Pillorys, and a bouquet of spices and florals. In the nose there is an explosion of red fruit. A 19 month rest in new French cask gives you balsamic and toasted notes.
Soft and elegant in the mouth, it is an expressive, powerful, persistent and very balanced wine.
