Amaren Blanco Fermentado en Barrica is a high-quality white wine, produced by the prestigious Amaren Winery in the D.O.Ca. Rioja, Spain.
This wine is produced from a careful selection of Viura and Malvasía grapes, from old vineyards located on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria. Fermentation and aging in new French oak barrels for 8 months provide complexity, structure and a creamy texture to the wine, without losing the freshness characteristic of the varieties.
Amaren Blanco Fermentado en Barrica stands out for its elegance, aromatic richness and an excellent balance between fruit and wood.
Appearance: It has a pale golden yellow color with greenish reflections, bright and clean, which denotes its freshness and good aging.
Nose: On the nose, it is complex and aromatic, with notes of ripe white fruit such as pear, apple and peach, accompanied by subtle citrus and floral nuances. There are hints of vanilla, butter and nuts, such as hazelnuts and almonds, which come from its fermentation in barrels and from delicate work with the fine lees.
Palate: On the palate, it is broad and unctuous, with a smooth and silky entrance. It has a balanced acidity that provides freshness and vivacity, with flavors of ripe fruit, citrus, and light toasted and honey touches. The finish is long, elegant and persistent, with an aftertaste that combines notes of fresh fruit and subtle hints of oak.
