Mouth: 'La gran estructura, y el paso en boca sedoso y redondo, hacen al vino largo y persistente.'

The Vino Tinto Arzuaga Crianza is made with 100% Tempranillo. It belongs to the D.O. Ribera del Duero. All these grapes are planted in vineyards over 20 years old, located in the "La Planta" estate.
2013 was a unique year marked by the climatic differences of the year, the rains, and a very short vegetative cycle; which led us to make a greater selection both in the vineyard and in our wines.
The grapes used for the production of this wine come from various areas of the Ribera del Duero. The singularity of the vintage has led us to use the grapes from the long-aged wines for its production.
On October tenth, when the grapes were at their optimal ripeness, we began the harvest. The chosen bunches were harvested in 15 kg boxes, selected on a table and later destemmed. The grapes were placed in stainless steel tanks by gravity, macerated for 4 days in the cold, and then underwent alcoholic fermentation at a temperature below 28ºC. After this alcoholic fermentation, we introduced the wine into new French and American oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging for 14 months in barrels.
The Vino Tinto Arzuaga Crianza obtained the gold medal: -Mundus Vini 2012 in Germany-Premios Magnun in Spain and the Gran Bacchus de Oro in 2016.
Serve this wine at a temperature of: 16º-18ºC.
