Chocoart is a Galician cooperative based in Lugo backed by over 30 years of experience in the artisan chocolate sector. They are five partners who coincided in a situation of unemployment and decided to start their own business of artisan chocolates. One of their first flagship products was the cherry liqueur chocolate. These are chocolates made with authentic Denomination of Origin cherries from the Jerte Valley (Cáceres), which macerate for six months and are handcrafted one by one. One of the latest innovations is the Cabrales cheese mousse chocolate, which has been notably successful in pastry shops and confectioneries in Asturias. They also make chocolates with other regional products such as coffee liqueur truffles, orujo cream, and cream. One of the fundamental pillars of Chocoart is the completely artisanal production of all their products. They produce about 70 kg of chocolates per day.
