Production and Aging

Beronia Crianza is made with grapes from Rioja Alta, coming from clay-limestone soils. Bodegas Beronia produces fine wines with floral sensations, reminiscent of fleshy and fresh berries, smooth on the palate and pleasant in its passage.

First, it undergoes a long alcoholic fermentation and then undergoes malolactic fermentation for 12 months in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, it remains for 12 months in mixed barrels of American and French oak. Before being released to the market, it remains in the bottle for some time.

Tasting Notes of Beronia Crianza

  • Nose: Intense nose, rich in nuances highlighting red fruits such as cherries and raspberries in perfect harmony with mineral notes and aromatic herbs.
  • Palate: Balanced and luscious palate. Fruit and licorice stand out on a background of chocolate and coffee. Persistent and well-structured.
