Beronia Crianza, made with Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Mazuelo, is a very fruity wine with a good structure, traditional in Rioja.
In the 3rd century BC, the area that is now Rioja was called Beronia, hence the name of this winery, which was founded in 1973 and integrated into the González Byass group in 1982. Today, it enjoys great national and international recognition.
Beronia Crianza is made with grapes from Rioja Alta, coming from clay-limestone soils. Bodegas Beronia produces fine wines with floral sensations, reminiscent of fleshy and fresh berries, smooth on the palate and pleasant in its passage.
First, it undergoes a long alcoholic fermentation and then undergoes malolactic fermentation for 12 months in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, it remains for 12 months in mixed barrels of American and French oak. Before being released to the market, it remains in the bottle for some time.
Beronia Crianza is ideal to accompany roasts, grilled lamb chops, Iberian cured meats, or aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16ºC.
